Sure looks like it took your ball valve wash down up a notch. Nice project. if you have time to do another one next winter you may have an off season job, I'm interested. The cheap engine is the key part obviously.

That is the hard part... once you've got that the rest isn't all that bad! It's just building a frame and mounting the pump where you want it and the little wiring stuff, these engines are pretty simple!
 
Hi Ben, I know it's an old thread but I am working on a similar project and wanted to ask, how did you mount the round plate to the flywheel? Were you able to pull the pins out of flywheel? I am talking about 8 pins that are on the flywheel and originally drive reefer compressor. We tried to unscrew one but I don't think it is going to happen... Could you elaborate? Thank you.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier but what I did was cut a circle out of 1/4 plate and drilled it for the holes, then I drilled 6 more holes and tapped the flywheel for bolts to bolt the plate to the flywheel.
