Help - Reclamation surface cleaner size.

Hi all,
We have a large 30" platform water recovery surface cleaner that is too large for some upcoming work. I need to purchase a smaller unit. We run 8.5/9 gpm 3000 PSI hydrotek units. Would the Steel Eagle 16" work with our gpm? I know we would have a reduction of flow at the tips but not sure if that still is a problem. The 21" MO is an option as well. Can you please give a recommendation?

Hello Jared,
I used the Steel Eagle 12" or 11" recovery surface cleaner with my 5.6gpm hot water Hotsy rig and it worked great so I believe the 16" should work good for you or the mosmatic also. I would get the Sirocco version of the mosmatic as they modify it so it vacuums better. There are some videos of a company out of Colorado called Top Gun Power washing using the Steel Eagle 16" vacuum recovery surface cleaners but I don't know what the gpm they are using. Running 8.5 or 9 gpm with the 21" vacuum recovery surface cleaner should not be a problem. If you have to get under stuff like benches, counters and things like that then both of these will not do it easily, the 12" and 11" models will work better but your pressure washers might be too much gpm's for them. Hope this helps.

Long time no hear....how are you?

Doug,
Doing very well thanks. I see your schools have been a real hit. How's business? It looks like from posts that you have been able to get to the next level.

Mike we gutted the entire thing. The remodel turned out great. We have the front lit signage being installed next month. We should be able to grow into this location for a good while. How's your winter going?
