20" Whirl Away Surface Cleaner

I have a surface cleaner that is only few weeks old. I noticed it had a bad wobble to it compared to the others I've had in the past. I flipped it over and held the bar while engaging water flow and there is a small hole in the swivel assembly that is shooting water out? I don't think this is normal and is the cause of the wobble, poor cleaning, and decreased pressure. Does anyone know if this is the case or what was in that hole?

I can upload a picture if needed, but with it being a few weeks old if it's bad I need to contact the seller.

Thanks

If it's shooting water out you either have a bad o ring in the swivel or bad seals.
If it's a brand new sc then contact the seller and have them fix it

Could be the oring but you may have a clogged nozzle that is creating excessive back pressure that will cause the water to bypass the spring loaded seat on the swivel. I would check the tips first. remove them both hook it up and flush it out without the tips for a min or two. Then make sure the tips are clean and reinstall, see if that takes care of it.

I don't think it is the tips because they have a good pattern and the bars spins fine, its just coming out of that hole. I can break the nozzles down and check though first.

Thanks

Definitely a bad O ring in the swivel or a cut in your seal. The more you use it the worse it's going to get. I'd take it apart and investigate or return the unit.

Sounds like a blocked nozzle to give it a wobble.
That hole is to let water out that bypasses seals.
There is a machined fitting that is pushed against the top of the spindle with a spring. It wears eventually and there is a rebuild kit for it. Since its new it shouldn't be letting much water out unless something isn't right.
Take it back under warranty.
