    Chemical Application

So, for a long time I've found it easier to use a pump sprayer to get my chemical on most houses. It I recently saw a video of a dude applying roof snot with an air sprayer. I found a small 9" spray gun online I could get for 20 bucks and use it to apply chemical. He said his was running at 90 PSI, but I don't know exactly what kind of air sprayer he's using. I had an x jey at one time, but found myself carrying a bucket of chemical and dropping the suction hose in it all the time.

So what is everyone doing? I like the idea of leaving the chemical on the trailer and injecting but when I pull my gun off and just run my ball valve while the chemical is soaking to prevent the water from over heating, it wants to siphon and pump chemical.

    Ideas!?

You need to do one of three things. Install an injector bypass and turn the valve to stop the soap, manually pull the siphon tube out of the chem tank or install a remote controlled shut off solenoid!

I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about but we use a 1/2 inch air pump run by a 150PSI air compressor with a 30 gallon tank. We produce up to 17 gpm (controlled by the size of your nozzle) at 90 PSI and we can shoot straight up about 35'. The air pump is designed for harsh chemicals and we can run pure 12% bleach through it with no damage and don't have to rinse after use.
