Proper Composite deck cleaning

I am still fairly new to this industry so I am still learning, so I have come to the experts for help.

Composite decking, what is the preferred method for cleaning this type of work? I have heard of low pressure with lots of cleaning soap, I have heard surface cleaner use, and just old fashion wand spray. I also have heard someone use one of those spray brush type systems.

I have been using the surface cleaner but am not very happy with the results.

Thank you in advance

Most times the stain is organic like mold or leaf stains. I would try 1 part fresh 12.5% sh and 4 parts water. Maybe retreat after 5 minutes then wash roughly 150 psi. Sometimes a stronger mix is okay but I would start with this here mix if your new. If the deck is sun damaged then it is what it is. If its chalky faded in full sun, make sure you don't leave a signature. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Sometimes, the surface cleaner cannot be beat when cleaning composite decking. Other times, the surface cleaner will cause a big headache. If you run your mix right, you won't need much pressure. If it's the "old" composite like the original trex, it's going to be difficult to beat the surface cleaner.
