if it's not SH,not chlorine, it's plant friendly,and works.
What is it?
Has anyone here used it?
Cost? availability?
10 to 1 delution sounds cost effective.
I want it more for house washing.
It say's it can clean oil spots.
I like the fact that it wont go bad/weaken like bleach will.

It's Sodium Hydroxide-based. Where did you hear/read that it's not SH and that it can clean oil spots? Both are wrong.

We have used it and it works just like all of the other sodium hydroxide-based formulas.

If I were going to use sodium hydroxide, I would talk with Steve Rowlett before buying anything. I think Steve has a very good handle on cleaning chemicals and he has some of the most cost-effective products I have seen yet.

Brett,

John has been generously donating his time helping us get the PWNA BBS to the next level. He's doing a great job helping us on the Web Site Committee..........come check us out...... www.pwnabbs.org

Thanks for the recognition Mike!

I have put in some effort and I hope that it helps. However, I am not doing any more than I would hope to see others do in the very near future.

Brett:
I have been here. I review these boards every morning.

The product from Texas doesn't work.

We tried about 15 gallons of it.

couple of ?'s

#1 when did SH become plant friendly?
#2 why would i want to pay to ship water/liquid[renew] when i can buy HD80 and mix my own?
#3 there is a clickable banner "revive-all questions and ans."
this is where they list it's applications and uses. SH will clean and degrease cement.
SH is the main chem in oven cleaners.
i dont suppose anyone has a MSDS for this product?
I was, for sure, that a chem advertised as "plant safe" was not going to be SH based. I guess i was wrong. I know what SH can do to plants and grass.
i can use SH to clean gutters but im not going to use it to wash siding.

Brett:

I beleive the label says it's a form of ammonium chloride

<o:p></o>Revive-All & Clean-All Roof Cleaners.
ICES offers both Sodium Hydroxide and Non-Sodium Hydroxide based roof cleaners.
Both are safe around plants and most important it only takes one person can cleana roof.

Focusing on one product in a cleaning solution is like reading the 1st page ofa book and thinking you know the whole story.
Example Formula 409 is called that because it took 409 different formulas tocome up with the end product.
Here are links to our MSDS sheets.
