Hi Tim,

First of all, as I read it my marketing mind wants to change the word sealant to sealing. I like the wave, but I wonder a couple of things...

1. is it too tall? I know it's a tidal wave.
2. will it be hard to use on other things with all those colors inthe water or do you have it as a solid for other things? Just a couple of things to consider.

I like it actually. It's cool!

sealant or sealing - I debated between the two - My marketing mind did not like "ing" being mention twice in my sub heading - so I went with sealant. I see your point.

I develop this logo over a year and half ago - just now posting it. It looks great on yard signs, business cards, etc. The front of my business card is exactly like the above logo, except there is a black border with my phone number etc. I get charge for one color on the water.

I have a couple other logos that I developed for my janitorial and home inspection business - maybe I post.

Thanks for your feedback.

It's NEAT! Makes me want to go to the beach.

The reason I like the "ing" better is it describes a service, but sealant is a product. To me, both words with "ing" describe action better, and thus the services we perform....

Just my .02 worth.

Surfs Up!

I like it, but I do think it is too tall. Try putting that in a newspaper ad!

Also, take a look at how it will look in black and white.

Good luck!

Steve,
I'm interested! Please share. :)

You are right on target - Finishing & sealing wood is something that I have done my entire life. Mostly furniture, projects, etc. The word sealant was well thought out - I have a reason & you will see in the future.

I run a quarter page full-color ad every week. It looks great. You made a good point - It does not look good in black & white. Thats not a problem for me - I always print it in full color - I only want the public to see it one way all the time. Its the color that attracts the eye.

Steve

I have a lady here that does the same thing. I took her a business card and she blew it up on the back of some sweat & t shirts.

Thanks for all the comments - I really enjoy reading you guys post.

Cleaner version
