GAS PRICES, big mistake…..

Gentleman and ladies,

Don’t be too quick to raise your price due to these fuel costs. Corporate America is aware of the current situation.

I want to tell you a little story before you impose your raises.

I have in the past had company’s call me during these gas increases and ask would I facilitate the contract under the last proposal submitted. Sometimes when others are quick to raise the prices they just call the last guy on the bid sheet and say come to work. Keep in mind on this one I was higher but they just felt that the contractor was not working with them. Keep in mind they are trying to keep cost down to there customers right now so if trimming the profits is a temporary thing they feel everyone should help.

Keep in mind that they have hundreds of vendors and have implemented programs for vendors trying to increase pricing during our countries distress.

I don’t want to offend anyone but they look upon this as being a patriot thing.

I suppose the folks that can’t do it where too low to begin with. Opps I upset some more!!! Oh well…

I hope today I can show you the letter I got from a nationwide retailer that is already given warning to vendors trying to increase contract pricing.

I will post my letter and my reply letter to them. I need to draft a version without names and pricing. Stay tuned…..

I’m always in left field….
