Subject: IKECA Annual Meeting

With the holidays fast approaching, it is time to mark your calendars for important dates in 2005. We hope you will block out April 6-9, for the IKECA Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s an event you don’t want to miss!

A preliminary program is enclosed for your information. Unlike previous years, the Annual Meeting will feature one full-day and two half-day sessions in addition to pre-conference certification, plus the annual business meeting.

Mr. Tom Grandy, of Grandy & Associates, will conduct a full-day business workshop, entitled, “Labor Pricing for a Profit.” Mr. Grandy will teach you how to identify the real costs of doing business. You will learn how to determine the labor rate you need to charge to cover all overhead items and generate a reasonable profit.

Other featured speeches will include a fire marshal from Las Vegas – one of the most progressive fire jurisdictions in the country. Jim Roberts, from Derby Pressure Wash, will discuss the latest in UV Hood Technology and a speaker is also scheduled to present information about labor law charges.

But, don’t think the meeting is all business and no play! Social events and receptions, golf outings, and the IKECA Awards Banquet are also scheduled. Don’t miss out – make plans to attend the 2005 IKECA Annual Meeting at the Monte Carlo Hotel in Las Vegas, April 6-9. Registration is forthcoming in January.

I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your families the happiest of holidays!

I just got the registration form for this in the mail. $475 for the first person and $400 each addition person. I was planning on bringing 3 or 4 guys to this but on our budget I don't even know if I can afford to just go myself. Does anyone know why it is so much higher? I remember paying around $5-600 for 2 guys on the last one that I paid for and missed. If I lay out the money for this one I will hitchhike if I have to.

I know David S. is going but is anyone else planning on attending? If I show, the first round is on me (in the casino :D)

I have an idea for a meeting .. Find a mom and pop joint that has about an 8 foot vent hood that needs to be cleaned .. set a date to clean it and have like 20 hood cleaning companies show up from all over . Then star4t up all the equipment and clean the vent hood in like 10 minutes,, This will really freak the customer out.. Then we can all go find the local hang out and chill for the rest of the evening.. Can you imagine 20 or more hood cleaning companies showing up at one location to clean 1 vent hood,, LOL
Now this would be funny as hell.. The only catch is With all the machines running we would probably get sited for pollution and flood control....

With 20 cleaners at a job-it would take hours to finish-everyone has a new idea-hell Mikey alone would take a hour-then another hour for Matt and Chris to take photos-then another hour so Phil could explain to the local AHJ what went on for the past few hours.
