Hello everyone newbie here, Im just getting started on starting this buisness I do have some experience though I have been doing pressure washing for a local theme park for a couple of years and learned I have the potential of makeing better money at it on my own. you would laugh if you knew how much Im getting paid ! I plan on starting in the residental area just doing driveways, sidewalks e.t.c. I have a couple of classic surface cleaners.
Just wondering how much everybody charges per square foot ?
Thanks for your help I look forward to becomeing a part of this board its great that somebody has created this, very useful information !

I'm in Orlando too, and we get anything from .06 to .15 sq. ft. depending on whether it's commercial or residential and the condition of the concrete.

My prices for Driveways is 0-8' wide I charge $1 a foot. and every 4' more I charge 25cents more. I've never had any complaints from it.

Sidewalks and curbs I charge .25cents a foot.

If they try to bring me down I will come down.

We use a system

Example:

0-1000 sq ft = $.28 per square foot
1001-5000 = $.18 per square foot

We work this all the way down to anything above 10000 sq ft @ $.04 per square. This is for both commercial/residential. Although on our residential, we throw in the cleaning of concrete with the Exterior Wash.

Just our 2 cents.....

This might sound stupid but how do you measure square feet. Is it length times the width. Basic algebra.

I dont know about the other guys but i keep a $75.00 minimun charge on any work i do.So if i get a call on a standard one or two car driveway and walks i give them my minimum price and it goes up from there.I cant tell you how many times people call me for such a small job and then when i give them my minimum price they tell me they had it done last time for $25.00,well my answer to that is, why did'nt you have him do it instead of calling me.The answer is always the same, there no longer in business or they could not reach them.My point is you nor i want to be in that situation we want to set some kind of standards in our industry. The good companies will prevail as long as they keep there standards HIGH and give great service at a fair but proffitable price.Dont feel you have to give your service away in order to gain more work.Remember once you get your customers in at a low price it will be very hard to get more from them down the road to your success.

Just my 2cents.
Regards
Nick
