Ok my homemade surface cleaner ???? My whitco machine use a #4 nozzle. so the surface cleaner should have 2-#2 nozzles 15 degree right ??? Well the pressure washer store only had #3 nozzles so i used 2 of them .. My surface cleaner runs about 2200 psi and probably a little more than 4 gpm ??? I don't know but it still gets real hot.. Should I Chance buying 2 - # 2's and trying them out that way I will get the full pressure , probably a little less gpm ??? The Swivel is rated at 4000 psi at 250 degree's ..
The damn thing gets hot as fire with 2-# 3's in it now I know that it will get hotter with 2-2's I wonder if there is a chance it will steam..

My machine has a ts general pump on it rated at full at 3500 psi @ 4gpm.. @ 208 degrees..

After running a few test With a number 4 nozzle ( brand new mig tip) I get 212 degrees at the high pressure outlet and about 200 degrees at the end of a 100' run of hose.
Pressure 3200 psi at the pressure outlet and 3000 psi at the end of a 100' run of hose..

Full 4 GPM through a #4 nozzle nets 4,000 PSI. You should be using 4.5 nozzles to acieve 3,200 PSI (probably why it's getting so hot). I would use 2.5 X 25 degree nozzles in the surface cleaner.
