Tip sizes

Yes it will do just that.

With 4 gpm:
#4 = 4,000 psi
#6 = 2,000 psi
#8 = 1,000 psi

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

Y'know, I honestly don't know. I would guess between 300 - 400 psi. Might have to research further and get back to you.

I know that on my 5.6gpm machine, a size 20 or larger will draw chem.

Here's another question for you though...does a downstream injector's rate depend on the pressure, or is it either full on or full off? Would I draw less chem with, say, a size 20 tip than a size 40 tip? It seems that way, but I haven't had to use the smaller tip much, so I haven't had a lot of chance to check it out for sure.

There would be a very fine point where pressure makes a difference. Imagine, if you will, the exact pressure where the ball lifts off the oring seat. The ball would flutter slightly and partially block the flow. But, at that specific pressure, the ball lifts completely off the seat so there is as much space between the ball and the oring as there is between the ball and the wall of the injector. After that point gpm is the only deciding factor on injector vacuum, allowing you to use the knob to regulate the flow into it.

Ok, next question...Does more gpm mean more chem, or less chem?

Yeah, good luck with that thing....tell Donnie he needs to throw in a new injector on the deal.

I'm throwing in lunch and some class.
Good Luck Mr. Johnson

Oh yeah.....

Here's your new injector, Mike. They come free with all my hot water skid sales.

Thanks for coming down to pick up your skid and surface cleaner today. I enjoyed hanging with you guys at lunch too!
