Hi Russ,
My machine has a 13 hp honda, is rated at 4.5 gpm and 3500 psi. I tested the gpm's and get 4.5 (at least) and do get 3500 psi with a 4.5 nozzle. It is a gear driven cat pump # 5cp3120g1.
My question is: Is this matched to the horsepower? I have a dultmeier catalog that says the horsepower for this pump should be 18-20. Called cat pumps and they say 13 is fine. Also I can't recall seeing this much gpm's at 13 hp.
The machine is 4 years old and very dependable. It doesn't seem to be mismatched but I wanted to make sure before purchasing another in the future.
