I switched to Simple Cherry a year and a half ago and like it a lot. It's very effective on a wide range of surfaces and easy to mix up. Also, if it dries on windows its easy to re-hit and clean up without leaving spots. I am ordering another 40-50 pounds this week. Shipping just went up though.

I use to use it when I downstreamed and x jetted. Found out that whatever you mix must be used that day. Sometimes I have left over mix and I like to be able to use it the next day or a couple days after. It's not really a product that can you add SH and water to and a little more Cherry. If you do that, left over mix begins to crystalize in the bottom of the bucket. And the crystals would actually plug up the filter on the end of the hose in the bucket. Called Bob about it one day and he explained that you have to use whatever you mix that day, not to to keep adding to it.

It is great product and works great. Kills the bleach smell and does work great on windows. I just prefer not to have to be so precise when mixing my house a roof mix. If i have some left over i like to be able to use 2,3, or 4 days later.

I doubt the guy is still looking for the answer since it is from 2006, but I always use simple cherry and I have not had the same problem Doug had. I regularly add to my leftovers from the day before and have not had any issues. Windows usually come out looking good. I have used it to wash my truck, car, awnings. I also mix with a paint mixing bit on a drill and it mixes well. Not to mention Bob and Pressure Tek's customer service is top notch!!

I saw the post, but I had to check if Bump Master Ron was the culprit lol. Actually that sounds like a Hip hop name. Somebody has to make that man a shirt or a hat to give him at the next RT! Just do not let him wear it to a residential house wash cause that would not be a good thing lol.

That was very funny! hahahahaha

I also have been using Simple Cherry from Bob at Pressuretek, it is a good soap.

I only mix what I am using that day, I have had success using what was left over the next day, just add more SH to the bucket and a little bit more Simple Cherry and it is good to go but I would not use anything that was a few days or a week old.

Guess I am the only one that ever had this problem. And Bob told me to only mix what I was going to use that day and never "add to" it. Wonder why he told me that. If nobody else is having the problem maybe I'll give it another try. Does anybody mix it like 50 gallons at a time w SH????

Chris, why wouldn't you use something that is a few days or a week old if it is still good??? I've been the using the Green Wash in my mix for a few weeks now and the mix is just as hot on day 4 as it was on day 1.

I only make up what I need, by the 5 gallon bucket.

I would never make up more than I need, if I run out then I just make more on the spot in a couple of minutes, no big deal.

It seems like the simple cherry mix will not last too long, I have tried the Green Wash and it works good also but I still only make up what I need.

If I had a lot of house washes to do then I might think about putting a tank on the trailer for making up large quantities of house wash mix but there is not a need right now.

I have been using it for 4 yrs. I always use what is left over the next day. If it sits for a few days, it does get weak. What I have mixed from Saturday will be weak tomorrow, but I will mix up more house wash and will be good to go. Now I am talking about house wash.
You can mix up simple cherry and it's shelf life very good. When mixing with 12.5% is where it starts to weaken.

I also use it for roof cleaning and the left over the next day for house washing.

Outstanding comments.

If you have not tried the Simple Cherry, it really is a great soap. It is what I mostly use but last year I got some of the green wash and it worked good on some apartments and have not used it all up yet but now I want to try some of the other soap that Doug recommended.

I keep the Simple Cherry in a bucket with screw-top lid so moisture and water does not get in there as it is a powder and mixes well.

I don't see what all the fuss is about using simple cherry more pain mixing it I'd say I've been using some good car wash with wax in it I buy bulk in liquid form from a auto detail supplier works great gives a good shine suds great and much cheaper!

I don't see how mixing the Simple Cherry is a pain?

I take an 8 ounce measuring cup (comes with the soap), pour in 8 ounces into the bucket of SH and stir with a mixing spoon or stick and it is ready to downstream, takes like 20 seconds, how could that be a pain? I don't see how this could be a pain, please explain to me the great ordeal of mixing a powder into a bucket of SH for less than 20 seconds total.

Please explain this ordeal so I can understand your pain.

i guess i can rephrase my opinion i think its more of a pain to use simple cherry versus my new route of using a liquid. With liquid i dont have to use a stick or spoon. It mixes well with cold water i do not believe cherry does. Dont have to worry about keeping it dry i dont have to pay for retail nor shipping, its in town meaning there when i need it. i get twice the yield, 4oz liquid does what 8oz cherry does. still costing under smallest cherry order avail! plus the wax additive makes a diff may only shine till it rains good but better than not
