ReKrete - Waterless Concrete Cleaner

I know of a similar type of company that talked to me and I checked it out. Thing was it did not clean all the oil off on first application. It takes a couple applications in a several week period to do the job and I am not sure a DM or GM would want to pay the money to see results several weeks later especially if they are under the hammer to get them cleaned before a inspection.

Ive washed a few gas stations that use this type of powder and I cant stand it... They may have used it wrong tho... I just know it left alot of crap of the concrete that was very hard to get blast off! Looked terrible. like they were applying it themselves and just never using water to rinse it off.. just kept adding ... and adding.. by the time i got to wash it it had a quarter inch of white HELL to wash off! Anyone else run into this?

I've got a 5 pound pail still pretty full just sittin here!! Used a couple of times but all it seems to do is cover up the oil not remove it!! The first time it rains or a car goes through it it's gone... I applied just as the instructions said, maybe it's because I didn't buy there overly expensive applicator ( Push Broom) and I used my own!!! Hope someone else has better results but for me I will stick with hot water!!

Yeah, I'm more of a fan of HOT water too. I guess this kinda thing would be good on asphalt, or maybe an area where they don't want it power washed (which I havent ran into yet).

Walter, you still around? Any comments about your product? Thanks.

Speaking from personal experience...I used ReKrete on a residential drive that a contractors truck had blown an engine on. 30+ feet of oil from 5' to 1' wide. The homeowner was p.o'd. There had already been 3 companies attempt to remove the oil. I went out, tried the "grind the kitty litter routine" and realized there was too large an area for that to be practical.

I applied the ReKrete with a cup, spread it with a broom and brushed-off as much excess as I could. In addition to virtually making the oil stain disappear, it brightened to older, yellowed concrete too. I was called back to apply ReKrete to the entire drive because it looked so nice.

I have returned to observe this driveway (its now been 2 years) and it still looks great. Thee is still a faint outline of where the original spill was, but the color is holding on.

I recently applied ReKrete to an office buildings apron on 2 sides. (I ran out) Before I could order more, mgmt decided they wanted it power washed instead. After power washing, they are now upset at how it looks - which is how it normally looks - dingy. Ah well.

Hello to everyone. I have been absent from the forum for quite some time but wanted to quickly re-introduce myself. I am Walter Brown, formerly of American ReKrete of Virginia and presently of Enterprise Supply. A couple of years ago I discontinued distributing ReKrete products after the manufacturer sold its production rights to a janitorial supply company. Packaging, MSDS sheets and pricing changed and I wasn't comfortable selling a product that I was no longer sure was the same formulation or that even contained bio-active enzymes. I spent the next few years searching for a new, better product which I could represent and feel 100% confident in the results people would get using it.

Today and I'm am pleased to announce the introduction of BacKrete
[SUP]®[/SUP] Eco-Friendly Waterless Concrete Cleaner. This is a lightweight product (compared to ReKrete) that gives double the coverage and is more effective at eliminating oil stains from concrete. The product contains a blend of naturally occurring, live viable bacterial cultures which will digest motor oil, diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel, fuel oil and other hydrocarbon based petroleum products. Once applied, the living bacteria actually breed and reproduce themselves at an exponential rate.

If you'd like to get more information on BacKrete, I invite you to visit my new site at
http://enterprisesupply.com/. I have even inserted an article explaining the key differences between BacKrete[SUP]®[/SUP] and ReKrete. Check this out at http://enterprisesupply.com/backrete-vs-rekrete-comparison.html

You might find it interesting to note that the original developer of ReKrete is now the master distributor of BacKrete products nationwide.

Thanks for checking this out and I welcome any questions or comments.

Who uses this product? And does it really work? No, BSING. Does it really remove the oil stains over time or does it cover it up? I have heard mix things about it.

The brush that Re Crete sells does a better job. I used that product several years ago under my own brand name and it worked well for me.
