Exhaust Cleaning Insurance

darn darn darn

Anyone ever do a job in a mall that requires the mall to be listed on your payee area of your policy. we bid a job in VA beach and the Mall wants us to sent them a policy that lists them as the loss payee??? I said WTF ??!?!?! and am about to walk on it.

Many of our accounts require us to have them named as additionally insured on the Certificate of Insurance that we send to them. If you want to do business with them thats just the way it is! Doesn't cost that much more from my insurance company, more of a paperwork pain than anything else.

Its based on your policy, we have had both and it seems to work a lot better getting the additionals wrapped in to the policy rather than paying for each one. Just tell your agent you need it, they may charge a small fee to do it but it wont affect you one way or the other if that is what you are thinking. I wouldnt drop it because of this, you would be making a big mistake.

Did they ask you how many years experience you had in the hood cleaning business? A lot of companies will not write policies to people that dont have experience in that industry. Only makes since when you think about it. That is the only time my certification came in handy, no one would write policy unless I had experience or training. Office depot sell them, really cheap!
