Gazebo roof

Other than not falling off a ladder,(Russ) does anyone have a tip for getting to the very top of gazebos? Does anyone use the 20ft extensions or do you rig up scaffolding? Would like to hear some constructive ideas for getting way up high to do the cedar shingles.

I use a 24' wand. You can also use a 7' wand in most cases if you use a 8' step ladder.

Most of the gazebos in our area are built strong enough to walk on so we shimmy up the roof with corkers. If its too steep we also use extension wands on ladders.
