Emailing Property Managers

Another PM question.

In my gathering of names and numbers for PMs in my area, I have quite a few email addresses for these PMs. Is it bad form to use email to get to the PMs? Would they just see it as spam and toss it in the junk folder?

If I know what properties the individual PMs manage, I could go to the property, take some pics and email them to the PM explaining how I could solve their particular problem.

Whadda you think?

Thanks...

It is MY opinion that an Email is weak, personal direct contact is best
.
Make an appointment, take the property manager to lunch, one on one.
Then, be prepared to show and tell, and you sell.

I've had a mixed response with emailing PM's.
Last year we were added to 10 preferred contractor lists from emails I sent to the leasing agent. All of whom knew their properties would lease faster if they were cleaned and maintained. We have done some work off of a few of those lists, but not nearly as much as I would have liked.
