Old thread, can I get a form sent to my e-mail? Got my first commercial contract and looking for a good starting point. The one posted will do also just looking to open my options and get a better idea.

Also thanks Nicole for sharing this example form very good information and general layout aid for us new guys to use when proof checking our own stuff ... Nice to also read that folks use contracts for every job regardless if it's free (i'm so guilty there for not doing that ... Just did my mother-in-law's driveway last week w/o any signed paperwork ... Shame on me but at least now I know "and knowing is half the battle").


JR congrats on landing your first commercial contract!! I'm working the angels on my end to get all the proper points of contacts and also names of folks that can authorize a decision as to who actually gets the job. Do you mind me asking, as to what approached you used to land this contract? Did you have to like submit a proposal letter? (If so ... Do you mind sharing so i can get an idea as to how to sound like? Did you do a demo of your service and/or speak with property manager? Many of the commercial places here have corporate offices outside of the city limits for us to really do a live demo so im trying to be smart on handling things.

Means they have 15 days to pay without penalty or interest.
