House washing without a trigger-gun or x-jet

Chris are you jealous his is shooting higher than yours?
Yes, it's called "ball valve envy" Ron.

The more "man" you are the higher your unit shoots!

I just Choke it enough to shoot but not enough to create to much back pressure and it allows the injector to pull chem. I don't do all houses like this. Most of the time just a gun with large oriffice tips. But the ball-valve thing is great for D-Sing concrete chems.

I am no pw'ng "expert" but doesn't that confuse the unloader and cause uneccesary wear and tear?

Sometimes when we have our hoses up or whatever the reason is we will "choke" her to rinse the trailer off...or to push a puddle etc.

I have never noticed anything strange. We do this all the time to rinse after the surfacer on concrete and like you said to rinse the trailer or boots or hoses etc...

Maybe Russ will chime in. Bob seems to think it is fine.

not the Russ you were talking aboout but I have done the same time after time and never had a problem , not saying it is or is not good , just have not experienced any problems yet

Hey Michael, I liked that AR XWA8G35N pump you showed off at the NC round table.

I ordered one myself and switched out my 5.5gpm on my 20hp and put that 8gpm monster on it.

WOW! THAT BABY IS A BEAST!!

I wish I bought one sooner. I started out using it with #40 nozzles, but it almost feels like high pressure it's so strong, so I drilled it out to about a #50 and it's feels much better. Nice fat stream and it shoots much farther than my 5.5gpm.

nice set up, every time i seem to catch up with you guys, i get knock back down to the low baller catorgory. lol

Hey Michael,

We wash some that way as well, One thing I noticed was you closing the ball valve and then walking away. Do you normally do this? We always leave our valves open.

Yes, I close it because there is soap pulling if I leave it open. My unloader is bypassing to tank anyhow.

Hey Michael,
Have you gotten any work from people finding your vids on you tube?

Not yet, but they haven't been up long and I haven't begun to "market" with them. I will have to use keywords in the descriptions and of course link to the site.

I am working on it though.

Bigger question would be "how many newcomers have you inspired?" Not that being a newcomer would be a bad thing but why show all your/our cards?
