My name is Carlos Alvarez, I'm a young guy out of NC with aspirations of owning my own pressure washing company. I am currently working with my dad in the painting industry (I know, I'm in the wrong forums but give me a second) I was introduced to pressure washing 3 months ago and I've been pressure washing for 2 months now. I watched one of our guys pressure wash a house and right off the bat I had a feeling he wasn't doing it right. I started doing my research, first on youtube, I stumbled across Rob Anderson of Clean powering washing and then Rob mentioned Michael Kreisle in one of his videos. I started watching Michael Kreisle's videos and he made a comment about the forums and that's how I came across these forums. If you ever read this Mr. Kreisle, you are one of my heroes, I appreciate the videos you put out there so that people like me can learn. I wanted to take the time to thank you guys for sharing your knowledge, because of it I've gotten better as a PWer, I've learned a lot in the last 3 months, and I still have a long way to go. I want to be a household name in this industry.

Welcome Carlos! Please do read and research the topic.when pressure washing any resi or commercial building, it's more about the cleaning solutions used rather than pressure applied to the surface. This year, here in MD., I've seen more homes which zoro has paid a visit to then I've ever seen in the past 30 years being in the business!!!

It has become an epidemic!!!!

Mike

Thank you, Mike! I use low pressure now, wasn't always the case when I first started. But I know what you're talking about I've already run into a house where the previous guys used a turbo nozzle on siding.

Hey everyone!
We have window cleaning business (windows, gutter cleaning and pressure washing) and we really love this forum.

So we have a fair amount of experience and would like to help out wherever we can. What we lack is experience as a business owner, thats where most of my questions will come from.

Interested in learning a lot!

Hello everyone, my name is Jim Prom I am from Minnesota and own a construction company as well as Spray Away Softwash. My goal is to go full time in the softwash industry as there is actually more profit washing versus building a new home. We have been around the industry since 2011 and currently my wife and I do all the cleaning jobs. I could use some help with resizing my avatar photo, it must be too high of quality so it is too large of a file. Thank you and have a great 2018!

Hello from Wisconsin!

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the idea of providing professional surface cleaning and I am in process if starting my business. I have cleaned a few homes for friends and family to help gain more experience but I feel I have gained a lot of knowledge from these threads. I am a full time Firefighter so I will only be cleaning 3 to 4 days a week. I hope that I can become successful in this new endeavor. I can see the need for surface cleaning services in the Tri-Cities TN area. If you know of any threads that might help a beginner like me please send them my way.

Thanks

Emerson Carroll
