Hey nice to see another girl on here with a nice name I might add...lol..welcome and enjoy the site.

My name is Donald Breland and I am the owner of From Green To Clean Pressure Washing Services, Inc. I have been pressure washing for over 16 years but finally started doing this full time 3 years ago. I started out basically pressure washing houses and fell in to the cheap $75.00 house wash guys. I soon found out that I was a sinking company and soon to join the list of the fly by nighters. It wasn't until I found this site that I found out that I should be getting paid for my services. I sort of hid behind the computer for a while before I decided to join and introduce myself. I would love to get help on how to bid properly. I don't and will not cut anyones throat in this business. I think if all us pressure washing companies would sort of stick together on pricing then we could get the money we deserve. So if anyone is willing to help me out I would gratefully thank them. Also I currently live in South Carolina but I am thinking about moving to Orlando Florida. Would that be a smart move in the pressure washing industry?

My name is Mike Newhart and I started Central Illinois Cleaning Solutions about 16 months ago. I started the business when I got laid off and now I am trying to pursue the american dream. I have a hydrotek 3000, 5gpm hot water system, 525 tank and I just purchased a 19" whisper wash classic. Also, this year we started the non-pressure roof washing and house washing. I would love to learn more about the flatwork and what chems to use where and when. I have never seen anyone in my town doing any flatwork. So I hope I can tap into the market. Thanks in advance for all the help and knowledge!

New guy here...

Hey Everyone,

My name is Luke Surak and I'm with StandOut Property Services based out of Charlotte, NC. I've been browsing these boards the last few weeks soaking up valuable knowledge and info from you vets, trying to prepare for our plunge into the commercial PWing market. I spoke with Ron Musgraves about a week ago and he was nice enough to talk for a while and pour into me some great insight and advice...thanks Ron!

We've only been pushing sales for about 2 months and have made a little headway, but need some serious polishing in terms of sales & marketing tactics. Looking forward to future converstations and relationship building, and hope to be a resource for others at some point in the future. Good luck to everyone and God bless.

Hello, my name is Dave. I have been in the pressure washing field for almost, now that I think about it, almost 30 years. I started working for a pressure washing company when I was in high school and here I am now at the age 47. We started with 2 vans and now have 14 box trucks with about 40 employees. Time fly's when your having fun Huh? I have to say that my favorite part of the field is building restoration. We have done a lot of work for the historical society. they prefer washing over sand or baking soda blasting as washing is not as harsh. The major things that have changed is trying to keep the EPA happy. We also deal in truck fleets, such as the post office, linen companys, grocery retailers and houses. houses are the most profitable. You get paid right away to in most cercumstances. I also have the complete knowledge of the mechanical aspect to. I rebuild most of what I can such as the unloaders, guns, bureners, and the pumps up to even the motors sometimes. By the way I like the cat pumps the best. A lot cheaper than buying the whole piece new. I even designed the way the machine is set up. I really dont buy whole units, I frame up the pressure washer myself. I remember 1 unit we bought had a 3 gallon gas tank on top of the motor and the horizontil burner unit direcly over it giving me about 4in to fill with gas! I would love to meet the person who designed that one. But anyways I would love to be able to help anybody with any questions, or even to just talk shop. Peace!
