Welcome New Members

Hello everyone! I've been on other boards for a while, wanted to come and check out PWI. Already learned some things.....maybe I can help someone else. Look forward to learning and sharing with you guys!

Hello. welcome

Hello everyone from Hydro Shine Power Washing! I have been apart of other boards and I really like what this board has to offer! I look forward to connecting with all of you and learning from all of you as well! Every day is a new opportunity to learn no matter how much experience you think you may have!

Hello everyone! My name is John and I'm from San Antonio, TX.

I'm starting up a small pressure washing business and am glad i found this website! Definitely a lot of helpful information and things I need to know. I'm sure researching this site has helped me from learning the hard-way on my many jobs. I've been browsing the site for a while but wish I had found it before i purchased my equipment.

So far my equipment consists of:

3.5GPM 4000PSI NorthStar Pressure Washer
Heatbox add on unit (250 degrees)
GP 20' Surface cleaner
Small Trailer

Had I found this website earlier Im sure I would of went with a pressure washer with a higher GPM and probably a different surface cleaner. So far my equipment is working well for me, all i'm doing is residential jobs.

I hope to learn as much as I can here and do the best work as possible. Thanks for all the info!

Welcome John

I'm Darryl from Bethlehem PA. I'm looking to start a weekend business doing residential pressure washing. Looking forward to learning much from reading this forum. If anyone in my general area would be interested in helping me out with doing a Best Practice where I could go along on a couple gigs and ask some business questions, I'd be forever grateful! PM me if interested. thanks!

Been reading this forum for several days in preparation for my new PW start-up.
Thanks so much to all you veteran PW's for sharing your knowledge. HUGE BENEFIT.
I'm currently self-employed in the custom woodworking industry (7 years now). Looking to "get my feet wet" in a new (ad)venture.
Working on business plan and gaining knowledge for soon to open **Avalanche Pressure Wash**.
I bought a used pw unit last week. Will post pictures soon. I'm pretty jazzed about it.
Lot's to learn...Thanks again!

Hello everyone my name is Heber Aldridge and I'm from Greenville NC. I am just starting in the pressure washing business with a friend of mine who has done some pressure washing in the past. The name of our new company Hydro Clean and we are interested in residential, and commercial business. We are currently trying to find the best chemicals for house wash. We are having issues getting the heavy molds and mildew without using pressure. Looking forward to learning from you guys. I have been reading you guys post for almost a week and everyone is so helpful.

Thanks Heber

Hey folks, I was turned on to the site by Wetwillie. My working partner under different flags. Located in Central NJ in southern Somerset Cty, near Princeton. I have to admit I am blown away by the info available here. I have worked in almost all phases of the construction business and as a licensed RE broker specializing in commercial real estate for over 20 years. I hope to utilize contacts from both to build a high quality service that represents the industry in a professional light. I plan to accomplish this by learning the most effective and latest techniques to accomplish work that will further the professional from the fly-by night hacks. I believe it is incredibly important that as an industry that customer interaction not be limited to sales and bedside manner, but to educate the client to the process and how the work will be completed. This effort along with high quality work will separate the professional from the hack. My goal is to start out with residential and small commercial jobs as I have contacts there. I am lucky to have Wetwillie as a learning partner. While we will fly under our own flags in different geographic markets, we already are working together when needed, and available to each other for labor or equipment needs. I look forward to being an active member...I have so much to learn.

Hello my name is Eric. I'm new to all this. I was laid off from The Scooter Store on 3/8 and decided to give this a try working with a friend to help expand his business. I will be learning all the cleaning things as well as doing sales and marketing. I have read a lot of the info on here, but still learning and will have questions.
