Welcome New Members

I just wanted to step in and say howdy howdy. I'm from over on TGS and found out where you guys hang out at. HA. Took me awhile but I found you!!
I have been in the washing biz for 10 years now and always looking to learn something new.
I have 3 rigs set up for washing.

Hello!! everyone my name is Jillian Shelton I am new to PWI and just wanted to say Hi. I look forward to meeting everyone coming out to the roundtable this weekend and hope everyone will have a great time!

New guy in New England, just trying to get started on my new business. Already found out that lining up financing for it is only one part of a big process.

Looking at the Yellow Pages, I know there are a few guys in my part of Maine doing pressure washing, but I don't know yet how "into it" they are. I also discovered the Web site of a guy about an hour away from me, who does soda blasting and glass bead blasting. It's a big state, I think there's room enough for both of us. ;)

My sort-of specialty will be graffiti removal, and I think I have some knowledge and ideas that will give me an advantage for that. I'm keeping an open mind for any other business opportunities that might come up for somebody with the right know-how and equipment. I'm not bashful about "borrowing" good ideas that I might run across on this forum, either. :D

Now, as long as my present employer doesn't hear about this and think I'm planning to "jump ship" (I'm not; the "real job" pays the bills, at least for now), everything is good.

"Antisocial Damage" I LIKE that terminology :)
Thanks. I got it from a guy in Australia who makes motion-detecting cameras that send an alert via cellular technology, for catching taggers and other mopes in the act. Down Undah, they call it "antisocial behaviour." ;)

I'd love to offer a couple of those cameras as an additional service of my business. I might lose out on some repeat business, if some taggers end up getting bagged after their second visit to the same spot, but I figure the customers will be happier about paying me to remove the mess if the people who made it are forced to pay restitution.

Hey Frank... welcome to PWI... sounds like you have some serious equipment... how's business in PR?

You've come to the right place for expert information... make use of the search feature (in the menu bar under the forum logo), it is a very valuable tool with information spanning back numerous years.

Also, please fill in your signature (you will find this under the User CP section on the same menu bar)... just let's everyone know who you are, where you're from, business name, etc.

Enjoy the forum!!!

Thanks, Jeff & Steve

The business is up & down but this is the first time that I saw very bad.

I am tired of working for OTHER people part time and think its time I work for myself :) I am intrested in PWing flat surfaces and a few months ago I was on you tube looking at info on surface cleaners and I came across one of Rons videos and I asked him a few questions and he directed me here which was the best thing he could have done for me!! Anyway thanks guys for all this great knowledge and a big thanks to Ron!! Dean

New Guy On The Block

Hello, Everyone.
Names Dustin Koepke everyone call me "Cup". Have been selling PW for the last 4 years, while also detailing semi's on the side. Made the choice 4months ago that i was tired of selling them and hearing about guys making good money. So I quit selling them and bought a MI-T-M HDS 3506 and a trailer. Going to focuse on fleet and hard surface. Tired of working for the man and trying to be the man, here in Oklahoma City.

Its good to learn what you dont know, it would be redundant to learn what you already know. I know everything, I dont learn no more.

Howdy,

My name is Eric Kimura and I live in Corpus Christi, TX. I'm new to the business and to the forum as well. Just from the few topics that I have read, I can tell that this website is a great resource for anyone in the business.

Much respect to those who already run successful pressure washing businesses and spend time on here to help out those with less experience.

Hello All

Hello,my name is Bryon and I live in Rocester NY. I have recently purchased a powerwashing rig from a buddy of mine that I have worked with part time for the last 4 years. It was time for him to get out and for me to get in. Starting off slow trying to learn as much as I can so I do not get myself into trouble. I have been surfing these forums quite a bit and have picked up alot of valuable information. I am very interested in getting more education so I can make this a full time year round business. If anyone has some good ideas I would appreciate it.

Thank You
Bryon
