I think this is very cool

Maybe I'm confused....that looks like the Alliance class schedule. Where are the PWNA meetings and PWNA networking events? Or is this what they have become?

Beth

Ron,
You are totally misinformed. To my knowledge Alliance training is the only educator except for a Hood Cleaning class. When Brian Penny was on the BOD he was responsible for selecting new education companies but nothing ever happened.

Before Alliance training took over the training was done by Delco. It is my understanding that the PWNA BOD threw out Delco and created there own education company, Alliance Training.

If the powers to be were concerned about the PWNA education and not personal profit the educational classes should be owned by the PWNA. The classes should have been created and taught by PWNA members.

The PWNA is no longer an organization representing the industry. It has become a profit center for the management company and Alliance training. I have not seen the PWNA financials but it is my understanding the management company is taking about 80% of the membership fees.

Jack. if you want to teach at PWNA I can work that out for you?

The instructing of classes is open to my knowledge.

Anyone thats approved can instruct. Yes when delco did the teaching its was open to no one.

Allience is a company that Pete and EA owns.

Why is everyone upset about these guys capitalizing and making things better and allowing all to have a shot at this?

Ron.. I have to ask you a question. You may call me to answer privately if you wish. What is with the attempted ressurection of the PWNA? You've been following the same saga the rest of us have the past few years. Mismanagement, fairy tale financials, falling membership, secret societies, personal agendas masked in a non-profit.. where is the mystery?

Someone would have to be very trusting to think that they can enter the arena of offering teaching with PWNA endorsement while the primary for-profit entity providing that service currently, is owned by the president of the organization.

Ron, This is crap.... Are they sending you commission checks on student enrollment (LOL). Please do not entertain CES agenda with the PWNA, If you need Jack and I to make a joint post regarding this subject, It can be done. I in NO WAY want our course associated with the PWNA organization or any part of the leadership.

So, what are we going to do. change it?

Ron.. my desire to fight unwinnable wars has waned since my younger days. I prefer to move on and lead my own ventures. Its best that way for me. I then have no one to blame if things don't go right. I see thats what you are doing by trying to start a council. That's a good idea. You can come up with new ideas that that capitalize on the previously made mistakes. I wish you the best of luck with that.

Give me a call, love to see you get on. the only dist contractor advisor..

Ron, I appreciate the offer very much. I am going to sit on the sidelines on this one. I have a wicked year coming up and multiple projects that are dividing me up a bit too much already. I'm always open for a one-on-one chat though.
