I feel kind of the same way.

I really liked the UFC when it first started but now it is kind of boring also.

I really don't like Don King, it is amazing how much he takes from his fighters. Back in the Tyson days, Don King got a promotion fee yearly, Don's wife was Tyson's financial advisor for around $200,000.00 and Don's daughter was Tyson's President of his fan club making around $50,000.00. Amazing how many hands are in your pocket when you are associated with Don King.

I really thought that Rocky 5 was making that guy that wanted Tommy Morrison to be his fighter out to be like Don King, kind of funny.

Seems everything is about the money, not just Boxing......Basketball, Football, etc....

Hard to find a sport that they reall love to do, just because they love it. I understand that people need to pay their bills.

Tonights UFC fights will be 10x more exciting than any Mayweather fight. I think boxing has been on a slide ever since Tyson bit Holyfeild.

It sure was!! Good gracious that was one helluva fight! Liddell vs. Silva really lived up to it's hype and more. Unlike boxing the fight was unpredictable and much more exciting to watch. Liddell pounded Silva like crazy with more than just punches and Silva kept coming. The two take downs were totally unexpected and the spinning back fist was cool to watch too. Liddell kicks, elbows, and barrage of unrelenting assault looked just like the Chuck of old. HE'S BACK!!

Boxing is like, hmmm what do you think he's going to do next?...uhhh maybe the guy will punch him in the head. BORING!!!

He sure is did you see that special on HBO

I saw parts of it. I can't stand listening to Mayweather. I had to change the channel, he talks so much sh*t it's irritating. I was hoping Hatton could knock him out, but unfortunately Mayweather was too good. Big reach advantage and very accurate.

Boxing is not even a hadow of former things.

I used to watch boxing when holmes, sugar ray, spinks(Both) Ali, George F and the others were around. I think that big joke cooney was what started things a little for me. Someone of that size with no real power?

Any how, I have been involved with fighting all my life due to where I grew up and I can tell you boxing has its place, but its place is not taking up T.V. time or PPV dollars. It is a discipline I learned along with American Ken-Po long ago.

Itis really relative. I used to get asked the question after I sparred with people who were "Better than me" when the outcome was me either pounding on them or submitting them as to which form is better. The true answer is it depends on the individuals inner strength, ability to take a strike and keep their composure when involved in a possible choke out.

Funny story:My old next door neighbor Mr.Varner used to be big in boxing through his life through Navy up until several years ago through the PAL. He retired now, but trained alot of guys as wel as knew alot of big names. He trained Mercer when he was younger. Well one day Mercer was just looking for odd jobs and Mr.Vaner sent him next door to us to see if we wanted our limbs trimmed. He came over to my Mom and made his bid. He then asked my Mom if she knew who he was and started to shadow box. She said ."uhhh NO? Maybe someone who likes to punch the air and look tough?" lol Mothers just do not have any idea. I would have loved to see his face an take a pic.

Oh on a side note. If you like MMA take a mlook at this guy. He is coming to the UFC now. youtube.com type in Kimbo

Did Liddell BEAT Vanderlei Silva ???

Anyone see UFC 84? The fight I was looking forward to seeing the most was

Wanderlei Silva vs. Keith Jardine

HOLY $#@!! That fight was fast! Wandy is back!! He bum rushed Jardine as soon as he tried to kick him and knocked him down with a right, left, right combo and completely out with two rights on the ground. Took Keith a couple of minutes to come to!

Wanderlei's highlight reels makes him look like the Tasmanian Devil, fun to watch.

But Vanderlei has had his world rocked by Vitor Belfort
and others.
Just goes to show there is always someone who has your number ?
