I am bidding a 15,000 sq ft building. They want to clean the outside walls, inside wall ,ceiling, and garage floors. Do I charge the total sq ft x 4 for all of this?

Don't know about the other guys, but I don't know that we would charge the same for an interior wash as an exterior. Interiors have a few different quirks to them. 15000 sq ft of what? Brick, new, old, what's on floors, drains, landscaping or parking lot, what kind of ceiling - entry/exit?

it is a single story I assume that being said I also assume it is brick or concrete , I would say for the outside alone I would be no less tan 1200 (if it is a one time clean only) for the inside I would say no less than 1800 to 2000But I have not seen it either , take a picture or tell me a little more detailed info

WEll it was a repair garage and the concrete is fairly dirty(15,000)
Then they want the entire ceiling washed so they can paint it (20ft tall)15,000 ft
All the walls inside and out(hollow brick) Metal ceiling and I told them I would not work on it unless electric was OFF...They are taking all wiring out to redo...

I think I bid a fair amount of 5000.00 but was wondering did I figure sq ft right at 60,000 ft...The job should take 5-6 days with reclaiming

if it is that long of a job you are on a whole different page than where I was you may be in the 5 to 6k range and to be honest I would be real careful on how I bid under those circumstances

I have done a few that size here and to help you bid it, just need some more info:

What is the length x height?
Painted bricks on outside?
Painted bricks on inside?
Insulation on ceiling?
Insulation on walls?
Is it mostly just dust on the upper walls and ceiling?
Can you put a lock on the main breaker? (Never take chances with electricity)
Take any pictures yet?
Length x width for concrete?

It would really help with some pictures as that really does affect the pricing, have to know the pita factor, yes there will be a few there when you are working inside a building.

Reclaim is not that bad of an issue when you know how to do it and set up properly.

Can you visually see the slope of the inside floor and outside concrete so you know where the runoff will go?

This is what the guys need to know to help you out to bid it, there is a lot to think about so you don't leave anything out and are properly prepared.

Well I should know something by Thursday. My helpers labor should run about 300.00 and I work cheap......chemicals around 100.00 I should be ok...400.00 vs 5000.00 not bad for a week or less.....unless a lowballer comes in with a bid of 1000.00 LOL
