Federal Do Not Call List

How much has the new laws affected your cold calling to commercial businesses or trying to get 15 minutes of their time to demo your services?

We are lucky, in Canada the Do not Call list only pertains to individuals, not businesses

I think thats the way it should be or if they really want to get ugly, how about consumers in America getting together and saying no more T.V. ads or radio ads to disrupt our daily lives. Maybe, we can buy a no soliciting software package where if its installed that all commercials will be replaced with pleasant photos of vacation scenes until the program resumes?

If they want it to be on like Donkey kong we can work it!!! :smile2:

The do not call list does not pertain to Businesses in the US. I worked for a telesales CO this last winter.

If it does not pertain to businesses, does it mention anything that if you tell them to put your number on that company's do not call list they have to comply?

OR

Do you have to keep putting up with the automated telemarketer calls?

It would be nice if businesses had a do not call list for those pesky telemarketers and the fake fundraisers.
