Welcome New Members

Hello!

I am a professional firefighter in Maine and my schedule allows for a 2nd job (as so many of us here do) I would to start out doing residential houses first and the other odd jobs and some day do kitchen hood cleaning. I already have my fire inspector, and would like to up grade and clean a few hoods I have 2 or 3 friends who own seafood shakes here in Maine that I am sure would use me. I don't know honestly what it all entails but seems pay more then pressure washing a home but need to build on the basics first.

I have an enclosed trailer with an old rahsco hot water p/w. nothing wonderful but it works. Im sure I will need all the help I can get.

Thanks
Shane from Maine

Hello,

My name is Joshua and I am a Paramedic out of Atlantic Canada. I've been browsing and reading around these boards for the past few weeks and the amount of knowledge here is amazing. I've noted the need for a signature and made sure that I created one well in advance to posting. I am in the early stage of building at power washing business (part-time) and I've devoured information on the boards. I would like to focus on flat surfaces, decks/fences and buildings (not roofs). I have a few questions but I will refrain from asking until I exhaust the search button and come up short. I appreciate you folks activating my account and allowing me on the boards. Thanks, eh!

Hello Everyone,
My names Herb And I am an Add.... Wait..... Sorry wrong speech. ;)
As I said the name is Herb and I am from Arizona. I am restarting a paver/concrete cleaning and sealing company in the Sedona/Prescott areas. I say restarting as I used to have the same type of business in that area quite a few years ago. The partner I was involved with tossed me under a bus (almost literally). I am gathering some new equipment now such as a sealer pump and hand tools (paver puller, I hate trying to use screwdrivers) and will be hitting the pavement in a couple weeks. I have several cleaning jobs lined up already and a couple possible sealing jobs as long as I can acquire the pump and spreaders quickly.

I appreciate you allowing me to come in here and gather a bit of intel. I truly wish I had this type of resource when I did this the first time. I will be asking a few questions on products I have experience with to see if there are better or perhaps smoother application methods ect.

Thanks for having me here.
Herb

Hi, i am Andy from Northern Virginia. I am a total newbie. I want to build or buy a small rig and get my feet wet, then grow it as i learn more. Any advice or references to methods, equipment, supplies or product are totally welcome and encouraged.

My name is James, I have been providing professional restaurant cleaning services for about 16 years. I hope that I have a wealth of knowledge, experience and "tricks of the trades" to provide to the community. One year ago I simplified and shifted my company focus to only pressure washing related services. For 15 years we specialized in professional truck mounted carpet cleaning (restaurants and large commercial), restaurant hood and duct cleaning, pressure washing, tile and grout cleaning, awning cleaning, roof cleaning and grease removal. I have also spent about 8 years providing water damage restoration and remediation services to businesses and residential homes.

I am excited to be a part of this community, hope to share knowledge and learn from providers throughout this group.

I'm Jeff. Working full time in the tech industry in downtown Seattle, pressure washing as a side hustle - for now. Looking to grow this business as big as possible and willing to put in the work. I'm happy to be a part of this community as it has been a wealth of wisdom thus far.

Welcome to the forum Jeff! There's a lot of good folks and plenty of good information here...

Hello members. Just starting up my roof cleaning business as soon as New England thaws out. I have all my equipment except for a 3/4' garden hose. I hear that mean green has gone out of business and Eley won't be manufacturing a 3/4" hose for a few more months. Any one have a suggestion?

My name is Charles, I have been following this forum for months now and figured it was time to introduce myself. I am currently starting my power washing business focusing on residential work at first. I would like to thank all of you here for the helpful information, and I hope to be able to contribute in the future.
