Who is out of Business ?

still kicking

I am no longer in business, was enjoyable while it lasted...started a home improvement business in 1993...added washing in 2003, 2007 almost to the day of starting my adventure an aha moment led to do part time washing but after putting things into perspective I unloaded 95% of equipment to better homes in 2011...kept enough to scratch the occasional itch.

Still have chemicals in storage.

I get calls once in a while from newbies who "saw my posts"

I still pop online to check on the scene...notice not much has changed and the cycle of behavior continues.

stopped my renewal on whastonmyroof this past september...sad day.

Hey Gary Actually Great things are happening, just a few guys are carrying the birden for the better of the Masses. Good to see you

I am back to the career I was in after washing...fixing car washes...so I'm still playing with soap and high pressure...just not calling company salespeople d-bags on facebook...that was a setback but I'm having the last laugh on that one, that company is on the verge of a big karma payback.

I'm glad to see some of the guys are still around, I didn't really want to close up, but it was just way too much.

I smile inside every time I see a new washing business on the road here, 10 years ago when I wrote my business plan there was only a handful, now there is 5 times as many, just like I mentioned in it.

Hey Gary good to see your doing well. Nice meeting you yrs ago at an ACR Roundtable.

Big Boy, Jon, Les, Mike H, Ron P all the guys I first met on forums 14 years ago all gone.
I remember all of those guys. I stayed in touch with 2 of them.. Les in there was super helpful to me back on Delco's old board. Him and David Olson. What's Les been up to?

My Bad, I didn't keep in touch for a while and when I emailed him his address was bad.
I still have an email he sent me on how to mix and use sodium hydroxide, back in 1999 it was difficult to learn the secrets of the trade.

Hey Chris 90% of most businesses fail in the first 5 yrs. So that's a given. Just keep doing what your doing and give it all you can and just refused to fail(another words keep at it). I bet your going to be around 5 yrs from now doing OK for yourself in Powerwashing.... Just a hunch(smile)

Our company is starting our 21st year in pressure cleaning. It can be done if you just put your head down, dont worry what everybody else is doing and just keep going and have fun with it.
