Jim is working one getting another one running.

Its started from a wiring problem.

Everyone was ok, no one got hurt. His guys smart enough to un-hook the truck from the trailer to save the truck.

Its just a good thing everyone ok!!

Did he have a main battery cut off switch on it like Bulldozers, Loaders, ect use?

I have 1 on my machine and it's worth every bit of the $5 from Harbor Freight I paid for it.

Glad he was able to save the truck and no one got hurt, maybe his insurance will kick in and help him out on it.

Thankfully Jim reported no injuries (other than feelings)

Sh!^ Happens, fortunately Jim is from the cloth that is pro active not reactive. I believe he will come out on top in this situation. A pair of fire extinguishers inside the rear door might have helped eleviate the damage but, we willl never know.

~Dont over estimate how much a pair of fire extinguishers will do. If the fire was discovered in its incipient stage an extinguisher or two might be able to put it out, but it appears that the fire occured while driving down the street. By the time Jim, or whoever was driving noticed the trailer on fire, it was way to late for extinguishers and it took some quick thinking and quick action to disconnect the truck and move it.

PS. opening the doors helped feed the fire by introducing more oxygen.

Good job and I am glad no one was hurt.
