Anyone doing this now? Just pulled the trigger and am waiting for my card reader. Always accepted checks and cash only...a little leery of credit card security but gotta adapt with the times.

Almost all the homes in my area get between 8-10 gpm. Would using a hose, no buffer tank, for a 7gpm pump be ok or is this to close for possible cavitation? Btw, I use a 3/4" garden hose about 15' long.

Been looking at pressure washer and either see belt driven or direct drive...not much word on the gear reducers. Any particular disadvantage to them?
