An interesting E-mail

You know, its funny he sent it to 300 PM. Trust me, I have detailed list of PM's here in Louisville. There only 30 or so.
 
here is my take , John runs a successful business and he takes great pride in it so when someone says something negative about it he is like a pit bull , after all it is his livelihood

he is a good guy but I feel he looks at you speaking of roof a cide with the same passion as you would you wife or child ...... nothing wrong with that ..... just leave him alone and dont entice him or you WILL regret it

That's bullsh*t, Russ. I could care less about him or his company or how good of a business person he is. On the other hand if I felt like writing about my experience with his company or products, its my right to do so without fearing some type of tyrinnical outburst and threats of slander. This guy is a bully. Bullies are female dogs and felines (insert terms that my little bit of class prevents me from using). Bullies cannot deal with the real world and play by its rules so they stomp their feet and make threats. What kind of adult person does that? In my opinion it is not a person that deserves an ioata of respect. I'm a little surprised at your comments, Russ. By the same token, bullies are only effective when someone pays attention to their tirades. This guy has gotten moe than enough of all of our attentions.

I agree 100% Ken, this man is far from a good guy. You dont even have to say anything bad about his product he goes off and his threats are disgusting.

You need to get your head out of your butt and think for yourself rather than listening to CT or who ever sold you this crap. I have PM's from S. FL. calling me to bid jobs there because he subs out work then doesn't pay his subs and the PM has to clean it up and cut him out of the picture and pay the subs directly.

Seems like I've heard of others doing that too, now that I think about it.
 
let me rephrase what I was saying , John is a decent guy as long as you dont talk bad about his product , I had a similar situation last year and I am basically trying to say that you are fighting a loosing battle, he will not back down and these are not threats , he will follow through , if you dont believe me ask Celeste or Tim Asleton if he wont do what he says

Get your lawyers if you want or sit back and keep on talking , the best medicine is to leave him and his product alone

Do I agree with his methods ? Absolutly not ! But thats him and that is what you should expect when you talk about his product , I personally dont think he cares what you say about him personally as much as what you say about his product.

As far as him being a good guy , I was told that by Chris and I believe him , since Chris has known him from way back and knows him personally.

I dont know his business practices either Don , But I personally have no knowledge of his business practices and it looks like you dont either except for what someone else is telling you as well , I would value the oponion of Chris Tucker before I would most people though (he speaks highly of you too man)

This being said why dont you guys let a sleeping dog lie and quit poking it , he is not coming here and bothering you or anyone so why drag all this negativity over here as well ?

Don Phelps with All Seasons Exteriors is trying to mislead everyone. Why? I don’t know.

Roof-A-Cide manufactures & distributes products. Our products are used by companies in 15 states. Each company is trained and equipped by us, but they are independent companies. Roof-A-Cide, Inc. does not contract directly with Homeowners, Homeowners Associations, or Property Managers. As a result, we do not have subcontractors. We never have and we never will.

While I don’t doubt that All Seasons Exteriors might have received a phone call from a Property Manager in South Florida looking for a cheaper alternative, the idea that they called him because Roof-A-Cide was using subs and not paying them, is ridiculous.

And the idea that Don Phelps with All Seasons Exteriors might be able to come down to South Florida and work in any Homeowners Association, when he doesn’t have a license or workers comp insurance, is even more ridiculous. Homeowners Associations down here won’t let a company come into their community with a half dozen independent contractors all claiming to be exempt – because that is illegal. But apparently it’s different in Orlando.

It'll all come out in due time about Roof-A-Cide. The internet is littered with your ramblings and threats. We can play the search engine key word game all you want John, but your record speaks for itself.

Anyone considering wasting money on the Roof-A-Cide scam can simply buy their own copper sulfate and save the $35,000 or whatever the current fleece rate is.

No, the Jerry Springer Show was here last year but I understand the effort to change things around here. You guys tried to run me into the ground for not wanting to be a part of it. I think there's some Roof-A-Cide threads in the backroom also if I'm not mistaken?

As far as naming PM names, I'll never do it any faster than any of the rest of you will but if you think I'm lying, at least have the cajones to pick up the phone and say it to me personally.

I'm elbow deep in my house remodel today, but I'll be thinking of the fun I'm missing here while I watch workers cut tile and re-route plumbing all day.

You're doing a very good job, Russ!

As I mentioned to Ron on the phone recently, PWI definitely has a better 'feel' to it now and has some steady traffic these days.
 
It has improved immensely Russ! Much more inviting now than during some of the locker room brawls from last year :) Credit also to multiple members who have changed their outlooks as well!
