Any suggestions?

Any suggestions on what would have taken these black stains off of this soffit? It was aluminum. I tried house wash, Gutter Zap(undilluted), and as a last resort safe restore. Nothing worked. Any suggestions for next time? That won't strip the paint!! Ha Ha!!!

The only thing I've found so far that would even come close to touching it was a butyl based sodium hydroxide ( purple stuff from power kleen). Soffits like that can be a real pita to clean. Many times I've found that the powder coating is already worn off due to manufacturers using cheap paint.

I agree, although I could be wrong, you may have to let the client know up font that they may have to paint to cover the stains or extra heavily oxidized area.

Possibility: I have noticed when they built the soffits on our house the backing side of the soffit had a material that if wet could leach a coffee color stain. I found myself using the washer and more would leach out.
