Anyone using Responsibid?

I would like to get honest opinions from anyone who is using this program. I got a chance to talk to the Responsibid guys at the Nashville event, and they seemed like pretty good guys. At $150 a month the price seems a little steep, especially for the budget that I'm working with. But what got my attention was that he said his customers using the program are closing 90% of all their bids. My close rate is not NEAELY that high, and at the rate calls are coming in right now, I can't afford to lose ANY bids. If it gets me one extra job per month it would pay for itself, but I'm a little skeptical.

If you sign up for the PWRA or WCRA you can get it for free or paying like $5 a month extra, i dont know exactly the offer.
All depends in how internet oriented people are in your area.
I think 90% percent is a little bit optimistic, i have been using it for almost a year now and my experience is, when people want work done, they pick up the phone and call, if they are just shopping around, they just fill up the form to see prices. I can say my closing rates is not even %20 percent, and not because my prices are crazy high.

I am a PWRA member. I wasn't talking about the free plan though. They knew I was a PWRA member when they quoted me a price for their premium plan. That is the one that they claim to be 90 percent close rate. When someone fills out the bid form responseibid apparently automatically follows up with them with 5 different sets of your emails until someone finally decides to commit to scheduling a job. They supposedly have statistics to prove that customers paying for the premium plan are averaging 90 percent close rate.

Ok, i didnt know it makes such a difference with the follow up feature.
But again my experience with follow up calls and emails is people find it annoying, if they want the service they call you or email you when they get their estimate.
Talking about online quotes, if they like the price the system is giving them, the just have to click to setup an appointment, if they dont do it is because they didnt like the price, and that wont change with a follow up email.
i have 40 responsibid this year and just 3 people clicked to setup appointment. All of them get a follow up email that i send manually being polite in case they have any questions and just one answer back and never heard of him after that.
I like Responsibid, but again, people who want work done, wont waste time filling up forms, just call and setup a time for the service.

I've not used it, doesn't work for Kec yet, but may be set up for it soon. I've got to know curt with responsibid from the last couple of PWRA events. He's a stand up guy, seems to really care about those he works with in responsibid.

Thank you Ron, it's on my To Do List!

Yeah, UAMCC is definitely worth it. Your membership definitely pays for itself. But that's only a small part of the reason why I joined. I want to give back to those who have helped me. Not that Ron or Doug or anybody sees any profit from this organization, but I support what they're doing. Even if it wasn't a cause that I believed in, I still would have given to it if Ron had asked me to. If he had called me up and said I would like you to donate $250 to join the National tap dancing Association, I would have done it. How could I not after all he and PWI have done for me?

I mostly joined the PWRA for the at cost printing. Couldn't resist when Thad was offering a membership for $100.

I have used it in the past. I found it helped me to save some time on a few price shoppers but it wasn't the replacement for in the field estimates that it is billed to be. If you can get a basic version I'd try that (provided it's not more than $30 or $40 a month) before moving onto anything more. Each area is different so some guys at an event from service areas outside yours can't really give you the real story.

I would like to join this thread. Josh I would not join anything that charges for leads. Ive tried my local chamber of commerce and noticed that even that doesn't work. I am only a member of this forum and I think its great. Josh it sounds like we are in the same boat. New state, rebuilding from scratch, starting all over. I learned the hard way about investing in pay per click, pay for leads, or joining local chambers. I would like to join a group that has more to offer than just taking my money. Is UAMCC an option and is it right for me? Josh. go with your gut feeling but it seems as if your gut is saying no or else you would not have posted. ...........................PS I gave my wife my upgrade and I just cracked my screen on my razor. WTH

The best ROI I have ever gotten was from BNI. Look it up. It will help.

It's not about the cost it's always about ROI. If something cost $1500 a month and it generated $15,000 I would do it every time. To me it doesn't matter what it cost, it only matters how much we make from it. 90% closing rate is great unless you only get one lead per month. Try to look at these things it terms of how much you make rather than how much it cost. Talk to all the people you can who are using the service. If it works for them it will probably work for you if it doesn't work for them it probably won't work for you either

BAM.....

this program is just a estimating program correct?? so its not actually bringing leads to you is it??? it just giving price's to the leads that are already their because of you ????

Yes, basically it is an estimating program. But I'm sure much more people will visit your website than people who actually call. I guess the program would bring in a few leads from people filling out the automated estimate program and entering their information. People who otherwise would not have called. I would think there would be a few people who would fill it out, out of curiosity, And if the automated follow up process works as well as they say, I can see how this would bring in sales you would not otherwise have received.

Its only as good as the leads that find it. I have a horrible responsibid closing rate after I run a Groupon or Living social, cause those customers swing by to check my full price packages and don't want to spend extra cash. I have a much better closing rate on responsibid after I run a postcard. The folks who come purely through internet searches are somewhere in between.
