I need ideas for marketing this bb, got any? anyplace i should get the address placed,

i'm doing some direct mailers to people on monday and tues.

any other suggestions from anyone would help.
 
The best thing to do is get the site registered in the search engines. There are several ways to do this, you can use a service and for a fee, have them do it, or you can hunt and peck your way thru the top engines and find places to add your site.

The first place to go is Yahoo. Believe it or not, it is still the number one engine out there. Also try registering with:

Alta Vista
Google
HotBot
Lycos
Dogpile
Ask Jeeves

I’m working on getting site submitted, I was also releasing a mailer this week. I am going to hold off now for a couple more days. Seeing that the mails not coming threw right now. Hopefully things will get going again.

Here's something you may want to play around with.

this site allows you to access a list of contractors in specific fields (ie: pressure cleaning, building exterior cleaning)

I pulled it up a moment ago and chose eastern PA for the region. the results were the addresses, phone numbers and in some cases E-mail addresses for 107 listed contractors in this area.

There are many, many more areas. This would give you a pretty healthy list of people to contact about the site. May also save you some postage if E-mail is listed.
