I tried cleaning an enclosed trailer. It had black streaks running down the side from the top. I tried several different cleaners. I could not budge the streaks. I assumed the streaks had eat into the clearcoat and there was nothing I could do. Does anyone have any suggestions? I just started power washing this year and was considering fleet washing. Would tractor trailers be the same way? I appreciate all responses.

Use the same cleaner that you use on gutters and brush it. That should do the trick.

I use the RPC 675 at a 50/50 mix and apply to the gutters with the X-Jet. For the trailer take the 50/50 mix and brush and the streaks should come right off. You can do the same with Gutter Zap the same way.

I am not familiar with you particular problem. But I have found that when using strong alkaline cleaners don't do the trick, try a two step process.
If your not familair with two step. Just apply a mild acid solution followed by an alkaline soap. Make sure the area is well ventilated. The acid fumes may be strong depending on what you use. We normally use an aluminuim brightner.
