I have 2 f250 flatbeds that i want to convert to duallys. Has anybudy in here done this before? and if so where did you get the parts? I love bolth of these trucks but i tend to carry over 300 gal of water on them and alot of equipment. I would feel safer if they had duall tires on the back.

Easiest way is to find a dually axle. If not you will have to scrap parts from the wrecking yard. I think it is mainly the dually hubs and brakes. If 4X4 you will have to have the same gear ratio as the front end if doing a total axle swap.

The actual parts are more than that. Dualies have thier own frame, springs and axles. The parts will bolt up to a single rear wheel though. If all you want is the dual tires I think all you need are the rims. This of course will NOT increase your weight carrying capacity, as a mater of fact anything you add will DECREASE it.
