designing a new business card

Only problem I have is that we offer so many services that I would have to have a business card the size of a peice of notebook paper. LOL

Anyways this is where I am So Far >>>
The photo of the card is oversized just a little so it is easy to see

Either do both sides or get rid of some of the other stuff on your card. Make it simpler do the fire stuff and maybe add a line about all pressure washing. get rid of the free quotes, and before & after photo, cards are to small for those types of pictures. Dont clutter it that much, you are just introducing your company with a biz card , you dont have to sell them on everything with a biz card, that you can do with your charming personallity LOL:rolleyes:

Keith at KBX graphics could really help you with the 2 sided cards or any biz card

Good, luck
Jeff

Not enough "white space". I agree with Jeff, forget a picture. Don't try to "sell" with the card. Logo, phone #, web & email, address and 1 or 2 word descriptions of other services.

I can see where the double sided info cards might work for the other posters, but don't believe their real effective otherwise. Good Luck

John,
Why do you mark the type of extinguisher on the tag? It's usually pretty obvious to anyone that cares isn't it? Is it a State reg?

We get the blank tags from Heiser Logistics.. Then we have the logo printed on them.. I have a friend that has a print shop in Jackson.. Thats why the logo looks brighter than the rest of the card .. So when I say I just got them in it really means back from Jeff at the print shop. But anyway we tried other inspection tags but most of our fire inspectors make us mark the type on the extinguisher and use an 1/8 in circle punch because they were noticing that restaurant owners were having companys come in and tag just the fire extinguisers they would then take the tags off the hand portables and put them on thier fire systems... We have to punch the tags , we have to sign our names and since there is no certification required in Mississippi we have been asked from time to time to list our insurance number on the tag.. The only place that ever asked for the insurance number was Madison though...

John, do you have a phone number for Heiser? I need to get a laser aimer for systems and cannot find their phone.

Thanks

Didnt see a laser in my catalog ???? I have never used one .... What would you use it for ... I always just do the inspection, test fire the head and check the gas valve and change the links and thenput it all back together and tag it ???

I use a two sided card. I order them from www.overnightprints.com . They really do print them in one day. The quality is very good. They are printed on glossy and very thick card stock, and are printed in full color. Here is a copy of my card.
