Dirt Dobber Stains

Is there anything besides saferestore and a brush for these things. Is there nothing out there that is spray on and rinse off? This problem adds so much time to cleaning a home. I am so sick of brushing those things that I am about ready to quit cleaning residential. It is always the home that has never been washed and there is no telling how long the dirt dobber nests have been there that are the worst! Someone please ease my pain!!!!! Sorry for the double post. Guess I should read it before I submit it!!

When we have to clean a house, here is what I do.
I simply wet the mud dauber nests down real good with a garden hose first.
Then I go clean the roof.
Then, I come back, and rinse them off with a garden hose and a garden hose pressure nozzle.
I do not own a pressure washer.
And, as a rule, we will not clean a house if we are not doing the roof.

FLAME THROWER works good LOL

Yet to find any perfect way to get rid of the ring stain from them. We knock it off, load it with house wash, rinse, load it with house wash, brush & rinse 85%-100% comes off. They are a PITA. I always make the homeowner aware that it will probably not all come off

As I have said before- accept the fact and educate the homeowner that you cannot magically undo all of the effects of their lack of maintenance on their home.
I let them know that fresh dirt dauber nests (this year's) will usually come clean but the ones from last year and the year before....

Many homeowners think you have a magic wand that you just point at dirt and stains and poof they are gone. You can blame the guys who market homeowner machines for that. Just go into your local HD or Lowes and look at some of the pictures they have up with a guy holding a wand 2 feet from a nasty driveway and the swath he is cutting is clean.

Educating the customer is key. Let them know what can and can't be done at the time of the quote. Set their expectations before the work begins.
