earthquake in maine!!!!

Roundtable Host 2009
Last night at about 6:30 we had a 4.5 earthquake here in maine. the epicenter was about 40 miles from my house.I was driving home from a job so I did no feel it. The misses said the whole house shook. She thought the furnace wass gonna blow up. we dont have that happen here to often thats for sure.
 
thats wild, that would be an experience for sure
 
When I was in the Aleutian Islands we got a 5.6 quake and people were calling me asking when we would get the tsunami warning. I told them if they felt the quake there would be no warning and went back to sleep... LOL

I hear ya. it is a baby quake for you guys. here kn maine its top news. I saw one lady on the news talking about putting in a claim because her patio table broke.

She is lucky that's the only thing that broke. I just have to make sure I'm not on a freeway overpass here when a big one strikes. 90% of the freeway overpasses here have got failing grades from federal inspectors.

I would rather be on the overpass than under it. I remember several a few years ago that got a falling grade.
 
doesnt like three quarters of the bridges and over passes in the country have a failing grade ? I wouldnt trust any of them.
