espec burner

I know nothing about their equipment.

I know Farley's, Pressure Pros, and Epps.

I just bought one of there big hotboxes after alot of research. The major difference in this hotbox and the others is the where the steel for the coil is made. The steel is made in the US it comes from pittsburg pa.The steel and different metals from china that are imported are just not the quality of product of the US metals.Farley has a big american flag on there burners but imported steel thats a no go for me.These burners have 265 feet of coil which allows plenty of time for the water to heat as opposed to some that have 180 feet of coil.Just have some cash put back for fuel it really loves the fuel.

I've used Farley's coils for up to 6000psi and up to 475 degrees
for over 25 years...
3 warranty coils in a thousand means this..
The steel is your least of concerns..
the CONTROLS are.
I'll gladly send you a "What's Different" sheet on our product,
and any of our dealers can sell them. :)

I got one a few months ago and have probably 50 hours on it. So far the flow switch abd thermostat went in the first 15 hours and they didn't include the bulbs in the test lights. If it was a 12v burner/test light system then I probably could have figured it out, but 120v lights that size are hard to come by.
Before I turned it on I noticed that the flow switch was only rated for 8 gpm and of course put up a fuss saying I got a 12 gpm burner and of course plan on using using that flow. They sent an upgraded flow switch which turned out to be good as the orginal one crapped out on me.
Over all, so far yeah the fuel tank is too small for the burner and has no sight glass either which is a real pain. My last burner was only 238000 btu's and had an 18 g tank while this only has 12 g. When my tstat went out I went without it and ran the machine full out and had between 3-4 hours till the tank went from full to dry.

Would I recommend it, yep if you are running a 8 gpm + setup. If your setup is smaller then this get a smaller burner for fuel reasons.

Russ I called the buyer of the steel myself at farleys and they use imported steel i would post this just to stir the pot just the facts i obtained using an educated buying process not knocking any other product at all.I noticed they did put under rated parts on that burner thats really odd.
