I got a call from a local lawn & exterior maint. company & said he just didn't have time to go & clean a few area strip malls. He said said he had the contract & would pay me to sub it, & he would cut me a check. That's all fine & good, but little did he know that I'd already talked with the owners a few days before & was preparing my bid. I told him I'd get back with him in a few days. I called him back & told him a price 40% higher than what I turned into the owners a day before. I don't know if this guy thought I was stupid or what, but needless to say he didn't get it & I'll do the jobs next week!!
