Facebook Posts

I've been wondering the same thing. The only thing I can come up with is when they look at your page, they can scroll down and read what you've written in the past.

Just last week I had a lady that wanted her Barn, House, Dog Kennels, and Fence washed. She found us someway on Facebook by some picture of completed jobs we had done. I still dont know much about all this except I have found this out a crappy website is better than no website and I guess a facebook page is better than no facebook page. I guess I go to Twitter next.

Facebook and Twitter is where it is at. In a matter of years people will check their facebook 4-5 more times often than thier email.

We actually have a new step in our TOMA campaign - once some one calls in we instantly go to facebook and add them as a friend. Its about getting intimate with your clients. Unlock that door and let the referrals pour in.

I have only landed one job from facebook but other than that I just use it as a means of getting pictures of our services out to the public. I just recently added an easy contact form on my facebook page thats identical to my contact form on my website, so now if someone does happen to stumble across my facebook page via searches or facebook its easy for them to submit an estimate with out leaving the facebook wesite.

you just have a personal fb page, not one for SCS?

I rarely ever post anything on my FB business page. In hindsight if I had to over again I would never have gotten one. Just doesn't seem to do anything. I have also liked I don't many peoples other business pages, but that's the one and only time I ever see there page. On the other hand, I have gotten many jobs and referrals over the last year because of pictures I post on my personal page. I think it is fine to use your personal page to show off your business, as long as you don't get to spammy. I have also gotten calls from other people in other states looking for someone to clean a roof, or house, because one of my friends shared a picture I posted.

When used properly it's just not marketing tool in the tool box, IMO.

I agree with not being too spammy because you will lose likes, I just share my photos from my business page to my personal page to boost the likes on the photos. Every now and again a couple of my friends will share them and they will get a wider spread
