Well I took the plunge and joined Facebook. Not really sure what its value is. Maybe some of you can share your experience (and how to avoid wasting time).
We have a facebook. I don't think it brings commercial work or even much residential if any. But you have to have one to link to your main website. And if you can get your facebook to show up on Google than it will bring business.
It is good for TOMA if you commit. Regulate your time spent doing it. I direct my customers to my Fan Page. My personal page helps for people I already know to get familiar with what I do for a living. Friends from church find me on FB and are reminded constantly of what I do or learn of things they did not know I did.
well I'm one of these people that believe in Facebook. we get on average 40 hits a week of first-time visits and over 200 hits a week on repeats.when I asked new customers how they heard about us, they tell me they Googled Hood cleaning in savannah and found our Facebook page.
My Facebook page ranks top 5 or better on google for a lot of searches here. I have gotten business from it. Got a job for a historical home the other day because the saw my before and after pics of a historic home on fb.
I've been on fb for only 4 days. Already recieved a handful of msgs about services and people who want to help refer me. Friends and family are always the best place to start when selling something
