? for Russ, AP, and Sentinel

So let me get this straight.....If I am on a property and if I wash and do not reclaim and water drains into retention pond on property.....thats allright.

Now if I reclaim on the same property and collect 500 gal drive across parking lot and drain in same retention pond thats wrong?

Cross contaminating, did you dicon the unit on a haz pad prior to storing the wast water? No likly, so you then dumped contaminates from other places. thus leaving wast that didnt belong there. You poluted the property Al.

I can assure you if the right person catches that? Your in trouble.

Are you still on the same property?

he actually doesnt know that for certain, many pieces of these propertys are owned by different people.

Good Point Thad

So Can I vacuum and use my vacuum line to go into the dentention pond, bypassing my tank??

Isn't that the same as deverting the water to say a "grassy knoll"

or are you saying as soon as it enters my vacuum system I am contaminating?

I was the understanding that the water should never leave the property!!

waste water would go to the same place..all I did was put my trailer between the work area and the dentention pond, no chemicals used.
I eliminated all the water going accross parking lot

Does anyone on this board dicon their units on a haz pad prior to storing waster water?? Ron, if I remember correctly heard you mentioned it cost hundreds of thousands dollars to have the proper set up with big companies to do this.
I would like to hear from fellow PW'ers like me who want to do right, How do they dicon there unit? what type of recovery system they have, is it similar to mine, do you take it somewhere? Do you have to buy more equipment.
Anyone here that does it correctly with a system similar to mine...I would like to hear from you!!

Al, the CWA is all about that. people talk about diverting and all the other methods. anyone ever think they might be diverting wast water to someone else property. ( thats Bad)

Why pick water up to drive it accross a lot to dump the water where it might have ran anyway?

Al, I saw some strange things in GA and heard some more wierd stuff. Your in a tough spot with the rules being messed up.

Goood luck,

Couple of reasons, the reclaim is what sold the job, it is faster and easier since their is no rinsing, simply run the surface cleaner and it picks up dirt and water in one pass.
There was only on place for the water to go on the property and that's the big hole they dug in the grounds
I have not worked across the country only now what we have got to work with here.
You asked about the decon and haz pad Who here on the board has done that???

Because no one on this BBS is and eviro contractor that actually does this for a living and has the proper licensed.

Al, the propertys in GA comply to these standards. The east coast is actually more complient in most states than the west.

You have a couple old application in that area that are wierd. Trust me its not you or any contractor. its your local goverment thats pulling the a fast one with the feds.( they will get caught)

Funniest post of the day, I went to the site to give you the info on the underground technology. Its appears it was invented in GA and the manufacturing facility resides in your state. LOL

So much for the advanced stuff on the west coast!!
