Here is the thing. The congress is spending more than they are taking in. Its not rocket science. The blame should be on the congress. They have misused the American peoples money. Time after time they use OUR money on projects that are lacking any need or in the least are in the wrong priority listing. When sane people start seeing the bottom of the till, they cut back and put the breaks on so they can re evaluate their plan of action in order to make sure their services are kept from being shut off. In our bizarre congress it seems its pedal to the metal spending on every stop sign they see coming in the foreseeable distance.
Unless its an absolute need for something that's a necessity, the spending should not just be slowed down. It NEEDS to stop. Then we need to start at the top largest and unneeded expenditures and cut them out. All non essential staffing should be frozen as well as their pay and all congress people and senators should have their pay frozen(Less operating expenses)
We also need to start making the countries we help secure their freedoms pay us back any cost we incurred as a result plus restitution to the families of all soldiers killed during these operations as well as restitution of the soldiers that are wounded.
