Grease trap cleaning

Hello Walter,
Cleaning grease traps is a good way to loose your lunch!
The ones that we have been asked to clean (we were there anyway doing the exhaust system) seem to always be in the darkest and hardest place to get access to in the whole building.
The last one that we did I was the only one that could stand the conditions.
Hot water, scrapers, shovels, shop vac, caustic degreaser, rubber suit, 14-18" gauntlet gloves. You may need to throw away all of the suits and gloves that you use and maybe some of your equipment.
I have never cleaned one that was not plugged! These things can be worse than the inside of cattle trailers!
