Hello,
My name is Gerd and I am new to this forum. I have been cleaning for the past 15 years and have been doing everything from office cleaning, carpets, windows, powerwashing...
I was wondering if anybody could give me some pointers with regards to the x-jet. I just got it in last week and intend to use it this coming week.
I intend to use JOMAX for the two houses I have scheduled next week. Per instructions I should use 1 part JOMAX, 3 parts bleach and 12 parts water. Using the x-jet without any of the little inserts I have a ratio of 1:1.6. The way I figure it I would mix 1 gal of JOMAX, 3 gals bleach and top it of with water to 7.7 gals. then run it through the x-jet. does this sound correct? Also can I cut this chemical more and still have it effective? Are there better choices for chemicals that are cheaper? I plan on doing more pressure washing this year but have to go easy on the finances so I can't put major money into a big amount of soap to get it at a better price.
Any help would be appreciated.
Happy Easter,
Gerd

How much soap and bleach do you use? Do you know how this all works with the x-jet tip? I used to just use a pump up sprayer but I am trying to speed things up a bit.
Again, any help is appreciated.

I add soap kinda like Emeril cooks.Just add it till it feels right.Maybe half a cup to a five gal bucket. You drop the exjets induction hose in the bucket and you pull the trigger and it will start pulling in soap and mixing it.

Yeah, I used to watch Emeril all the time. Gets me hungry just thinking about it...
I did some reading on this forum last night and I think I am getting the basic idea. I ordered some simple cherry and hope to make a go of it. I have a house and deck scheduled for tomorrow and hope the wind calms down a bit. It's a repeat job and the owner has high expectations.
Thanks for your answers.
Gerd
