Hinge kits

After doing a search for hinge kits, I decided it was best not to bring some of them up from the grave due to "years gone by" and things are aren't as they were back then....

But, where the heck is everyone buying hinge kits from? And how much are you paying for them?

I am paying $27 (with hardware) for these. Anyone else care to share their price and source?

Those hinge kits from driploc are awesome. Very easy to install and work great and cheeeeep! Now if I can just get some of those magnets.....

Scratch that....duh. I had a moment.

So you can get the hinges, but no magnets from driploc?

I use ordinary door hinges form the local hardware store. About 15 minutes to install and cost about $8 per fan. I also have a connection for 100lb magnets, which are more than sufficent for holding plastic to a hood and I'm sure they'll cost much less than the 200 lb.

The last time I asked for the magnets I got the runaround. I just inquired about their "Get acquainted kit" I'll let you know how that works out.
